Fragrance description Amouage Gold
Amouage Gold is a woody floral fragrance for men with a strong accord of musk. This Eau de Parfum from an independent luxurious perfume brand based in London, which draws inspiration from the rich and varied heritage of its birthplace in the Sultanate of Oman, is delicately seductive, luxurious and mysterious and, like all Amouage perfumes, uniquely inspiring.
The Gold Eau de Parfum by Amouage understands that a light touch can sometimes be more seductive than a tough “macho” interpretation of manhood. Amouage Gold is delicately seductive thanks to its blend of deep floral notes anchored by accords of civet, musk and ambergris, accentuated by the brand’s favourite silver frankincense. A touch of patchouli and oakmoss is reminiscent of classic Chypre fragrances from the ’30s. The renowned perfume designer Guy Robert has created a magnificent and complex composition with notes of rose, lily of the valley and incense in the head, myrrh, jasmine and special iris root in the heart and ambergris, civet, musk, patchouli, oakmoss, cedar and sandalwood in the base.
Amouage Gold is luxurious and mysterious, evoking the image of an Aston Martin driving through a warm night on a road overlooking the ocean and designed as a throwback to the golden age of perfume-making. It is the perfect fragrance for men who want to experience the sophisticated lifestyle of a true gentleman with a demanding taste. A man wearing Amouage Gold is proud, cultured and sophisticated, and feels no need to crudely flaunt his masculinity.
The Amouage Gold Eau de Parfum will win over all men who long for this lifestyle and for whom masculinity means sophistication and refinement. It will forever captivate everyone who likes timelessly classical elegant Chypre fragrances with woody and floral notes, as well as every true gentleman who can appreciate real quality and precision at each step of perfume-making. Gold is suitable for day and evening wear throughout the year. It gives its wearer a touch of individual sophisticated elegance with an attractive hint of mystery and timelessness. A man wearing Amouage Gold stands out effortlessly from the crowd.
Besides the arresting fragrances, which are the result of a manufacturing process meeting the strictest standards of quality, all the perfumes made by Amouage also stand out with their luxurious packaging. The Gold bottle, with its beautiful light golden colour and gold decorations, excites with its elegant, sleek and sumptuous design. The packaging is completed by an immensely stylish and delicately sophisticated box with gold accents.
Amouage Gold – the fragrance of a true gentleman who prefers elegance, sophistication and a refined style over the cruder forms of masculinity.

About the brand Amouage
The sumptuous scent of Amouage is characterised by its uniqueness and its totally distinctive elegance. The independent brand with luxury niche perfumes now has its headquarters in London, but its roots reach into the depths of the Middle East.
Amouage draws inspiration from the rich and varied heritage of its place of origin – the Sultanate of Oman. The brand was founded in 1983 by His Excellency Sayyid Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, a member of the Omani royal family, on the basis of his decision to revive the glory of Arabian fragrances. The brand’s philosophy is to create perfumes with truly artistic value. Amouage strictly selects only the finest exotic ingredients, including silver incense from Oman, the unique Oman rose and myrrh.
Amouage’s niche perfumes are put together in Grasse, Southern France, which is considered the global capital of perfumes, thus providing a guarantee of the highest standards. The perfumes then travel to Oman for production, where the maceration of the ingredients takes about two months. To finish, all the Amouage perfumes undergo the highest quality checks and are packaged almost exclusively by hand.
