Fragrance description Lalique Amethyst
Ingredients

Imagine a juicy cocktail full of blackberries, sweet raspberries, and blackcurrant, inviting you to tuck in. Add a few petals of wild rose and peony, a pinch of woody notes, and gourmand vanilla – and you’ll get Lalique Amethyst Eau de Parfum. Floral, fruity, and captivating.

  • fruity-floral fragrance with woody notes

  • suitable for everyday wear especially in the spring and summer months

  • bottle inspired by an iconic line of bathroom accessories from 1920

Composition of the fragrance
The opening of this composition boasts fruity notes of juicy blackcurrant, sweet raspberry, and blackberry. Later, floral notes of wild rose, captivating peony, and ylang-ylang come forth. Warm wood, addictive vanilla, and inimitable musk in the drydown bring a velvety caress.

Story of the fragrance
The Amethyst fragrance was inspired by a line of ‘Épines’ bathroom accessories designed by René Lalique in 1920. The decorative ornaments of Lalique’s iconic line can be seen on the bottle of this Eau de Parfum. The name, the design, the colour, and the ingredients of this composition reflect a marriage of natural beauties and rare jewels.

About the brand Lalique

The name Lalique evokes the beauty of fine jewellery and the translucent shine of crystals. The company takes its name after the artistic genius and master jeweller and glassmaker René-Jules Lalique who poured all his creative enthusiasm into the brand.

Lalique opened his jewellery and glassware shop in 1905. His art deco and art nouveau creations often incorporated natural elements and inspirations both in terms of materials and shapes. The perfumer François Coty was so impressed by his work he proposed a collaboration which resulted in the production of gorgeous perfume bottles.

Lalique has always been connected with the world of fragrance, even though they only introduced their first own perfume in 1992. All the Lalique fragrances are now characteristic for their unique bottles and the exquisite quality of ingredients as well as the aroma itself.
